SafeClean was born all because a baby was born. Christi Rice, a stay at home mom, chose to use cloth diapers on her new baby. Not only was this a better choice for the environment, it was a great choice for the pocketbook. Christi first heard about Charlie’s Soap when researching the ins and outs of cloth diapering. The companies that make cloth diapers love Charlie’s Soap because of the lack of residues that it leaves on fabrics. Finally after talking to her best friend (that also does cloth diapers), she decided to try this rather unknown detergent. It didn’t take long for her to realize that this was great stuff. Soon she purchased the all-purpose cleaner as well. Because the only way to get Charlie’s Soap in her area was to buy online, she decided she should be the one to make Charlie’s Soap known to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Since then, she has been spreading the word about this wonderful product. Christi says, “It is biodegradable, hypoallergenic, cheap, and IT WORKS! What more could anyone ask for in a detergent and all-purpose cleaner?” Most of the products on the market that advertise as biodegradable and/or hypoallergenic come with a big price tag. Charlie’s Soap does not. Also, other detergents that advertise as fragrance and dye free still leave residues on your clothes. Charlie’s Soap actually cleans the residues off of your clothes that other detergents leave behind. Furthermore, the residues left on your clothes by these detergents are the reason why most people use fabric softeners; therefore, if you do not have these residues on your clothes, you do not need the fabric softeners. An even greater savings! To top it all off, Charlie’s Soap offers a money back guarantee! What does anyone have to lose by trying this product?
Let’s get technical for a minute. If you spend $13.99 for a container of Tide Free HE (32 loads) and $8.99 for a container of Downy (40 loads), you are spending $0.44 per load of Tide and $0.22 per load of Downy. This means that you are spending $0.66 per load of laundry that you do. If you do only 5 loads of laundry per week (which is kind of low if you ask me), that is about $13.20 a month in laundry detergent and softener. Ok, so if you just use Charlie’s Soap purchased from SafeClean you are spending $14.99 for 80 loads of laundry which is only $0.19 per load (note that this is less than just the Downy per load). At 5 loads of laundry per week this comes out to $3.80 per month. Why haven’t you already ordered this stuff?!?
